Winners of the KS3 Autumn Creative Writing Competition

East Anglia’s UEA Think German Network ran its first autumn creative writing competition with the generous support of UEA Outreach and the Goethe Institut.  Based on the German tradition of making creatures out of conkers and acorns during the autumn, students were encouraged to create their own animals or imaginary creatures out of what nature produces at this time of year and write a short description.

The jury was very impressed by the quality of language as well as the creative talents that our Year 7 and Year 8 students demonstrated and would like to thank all students and their teachers for taking part.
