The Smart Choice

The Goethe Institut London released a short film to explain why pupils in the UK should learn German. The video clip The Smart Choice: German is targeted at primary as well as secondary schools and includes contributions from a range of identifiable brands as well as prominent figures from the UK who support the case for learning German.

The video is ideal for parents’ evenings, language days and all occasions promoting career opportunities. 


CAREERS WITH LANGUAGES – GOOD NEWS FOR GERMAN SPEAKERS

Being able to speak more than one language opens up a huge range of career opportunities and makes you more appealing to potential employers.

A recent survey by the World Economic Forum (WEF) revealed that German came out on top in the list of job openings in the UK with language requirement. What’s more, German affords you the highest average salary of job listings with a language requirement, too!
